Defrag shows disk full, but it isn't

WinXP SP2. When I run a defrag, the analyze graphic shows my 160GB disk as
almost full, yet it is only 25% full in Explorer. I have run defrag a few
times recently and though the number of files is increasing slowly the
graphic shows the drive filling rapidly. It looks over 95% full, and is all
blue in defrag.
I have run a chkdsk/f on boot, and that hasn't changed the info defrag is
giving me.
Are there some kind of hidden files that I am not seeing in Explorer -
though I have Show hidden files turned on, and am using properties of the C:
drive to see how full it is?

I would be interested in seeing a Disk Defragmenter report . Open Disk
Defragmenter and click on Analyse. Select View Report and click on Save
As and Save. Now find VolumeC.txt in your My Documents Folder and post a
copy. Do this before running Disk Defragmenter as it is more
informative.

Select Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk CleanUp to
Empty your Recycle Bin and Remove Temporary Internet Files. Also
select Start, All Programs, accessories, System Tools, Disk CleanUp,
More Options, System Restore and remove all but the latest System
Restore point. Run Disk Defragmenter.

Hope this helps.
