Anne

While attemting to analyze and defrag under Win XP, the
following message appeared:

This scan has been canceled because an error occured in
file:
c:\windows\pchealth\helpctr\config\checkpoint\tmp.edb.

If anyone knows what is causing this, and how to fix the
problem, please let me know.

Anne,

Please do the following:

- Go to the MSDOS command prompt and issue the following command: CHKDSK /F
/R C:
- Say yes to "perform on next reboot"
- Reboot your system
- CHKDSK will run and hopefully find/fix some errors
- After Windows reboots, rerun and see if issue has been resolved
