Defender

I downloaded defender but when I go to install it, it says does not support
processor type and wont allow me to run the program.

i have a brand new pc with a Intel 9r) core (M)2 CPU which is one of the
most up to date. Can you advise why this product will not work with my
processor ?

You most likely downloaded the wrong version of Windows Defender from the
download site. There's a 32 bit version and a 64 bit version... Since you
say nothing about running 64 bit, which you'd certainly be aware of if you
had it, I'd guess you're running the much more common 32 bit Operating
System and you need to re-download. What's important is what operating
system is in use, not what the CPU is capable of.
