Defender Beta Text Error?

If someone from the beta team is reading this you may want to re-word the
mouse over text for the Quick Launch icon on Defender.

It says:

Scan your computer for unwanted software, schedule scans, and get the latest
unwanted software definitions.

Not sure that unwanted should be in there!

It's the shortcut comment (also on the Desktop icon).

Maybe it should say
Scan your computer for unwanted software, schedule scans, and get the
latest 'unwanted software' definitions.

Just right click on the icon, choose properties, and edit the comment
description as you like.

I am aware that I can change the wording - but if it installs in this manner
by default then they need to change the installation defaults.

I just wanted to bring it to someone's attention.

I must be really out of it--what desktop icon? Again, what OS is this on?
(personally, I'd just change the phrase to "signatures."

Come on Bill, get with it. It's easy enough to go into the program files and
create a desktop icon for Defender's UI, and then you can create a quick
launch icon from that. The visible name for the desk top icon is Windows
Defender, but the scroll over blurb gives that silly phrase. The one that
cracks me up is "AN drivers change has been made" etc whenever I sign into
AOL. Why not "A drivers change"? All these sames question over and over are
making me silly. Do folks not read before they post questions? How do you
guys stand it? You ARE the real professionals to have hung in with us all
for so long answering our questions. Thanks!

My desktop typically has about 3 empty spaces for icons--i.e. it looks just
as bad as the real, physical desktop--or is that mountain!

I never let new utilities create a desktop icon or a quicklaunch icon, and
this one didn't offer to do so, and I was thrilled. I'm having trouble
imagining anyone who would spend the time to create these icons.

Leave the thing alone and let it work, and get on to real business!

Hi Bill,
I know what you mean about too many desktop icons. I tend to keep 2 kinds:
those I use a lot and those that have "issues." Defender certainly has
"issues." BTW - thanks again for your efforts in answering all of our
questions on MSAS and on Defender. I have a new potential issue, but I'll
post that in a new thread.

It does have a few warts--but I can tell you that it has a team hard at work
on taking care of those, even though it may not be evident every day.
