Default Viewing Options

Thanks in advance.

With some folders when opened, the view is sometimes Icons, other times
details and so forth. Some folders open full screen and others minimized.

I would like to set all folders to open showing details, and open minimized
set to about half size.

The option to "Apply to all folders/subfolders" is grayed out.
I hope this is clear as to what I am trying to accomplish.
