I have been using RIS for about 3 years now and have never had this problem:
I install my base image with all the applications that are needed.
I log in as a generic user (with admin rights) and configure my settings and
environment the way I want them to be presented.
I always restart and log-in as a user with local administrator access (also
a domain admin) and copy the created profile over to the "default user"
profile. I assign rights to this profile to everyone.
I can then log-out and login as a new user, getting the new profile.
I usually then restart the machine, delete all profiles except the
administrator and launch riprep. I delete the profiles from the "System"
User Profiles tab.
The image copies up successfully, and blows down successfully, but when a
new user logs in they do not get the newly created default user profile.
Does anyone have a clue as to why this is happening?
TIA,
Jeff
