default settings have changed need help

when double clicking on c: it should open c: but with my pc it opens the
search page. when i wright click on c: i get search, open ,explore insted of
open explore search. i am unable to bring it back to the default setting.

D/load and run Doug Knox's folder_open.vbs which "fixes the problem where
Search or Command Prompt opens when double clicking a folder":

You may receive a warning from your Antivirus program regarding the .vbs
file possibly being an unsafe or malicious file.......there is nothing
malicious about Doug Knox's .vbs files, they are safe to d/load and run.
