Decent financial software for Win XP???

We've been using Quicken for years to track our cashflow. Every year it gets
worse and worse and this year beats all. We're upgrading from Quicken 2005
XG to Quicken Cash Manager 2008. It's HORRIBLE!

- Won't upgrade our data file from out old version
- I'd say that it uses at least 50% more space to show the same data as
previous versions
- SLOOOOOW
- The screen flashes endlessly
- Interferes with other software running on the PC
....etc.

Microsoft doesn't have a Canadian version of MS Money, and I hear that it's
a dog too.

So, is there ANY software out there that tries to be USEFUL over FLASHY?
Anything us Canadians can use?

Noozer,

Sage Line 50 is the most popular one I know for networked accounts applications

Microsoft bought out 'Great Plains Dynamics' which is another accounting software mainly
for the US market

What does your accountant suggest? For small businesses Simply
Accounting by Sage is a popular program. For larger businesses their
Accpac line is very good.

This looks REALLY good...

I've imported my data from Quicken using QIF files. Just need to weed
out the duplicate transactions and then do some testing.

Glad it's working so far. Good luck!
