I think there is a problem with the direct X.
Overnight the DVD playback has stopped working. I open
Power DVD, the sound plays, but visually all I get is a
screen saying the DDraw Overlay mode needs to be
used???!!!
I have installed no software since I last watched a DVD...
Action taken: Different resolution (no effect), different
colour settings (no effect), reinstalled video drivers
for radeon 9200 graphics card (no effect), reinstalled
Microsoft direct X (no effect), rolled back to a previous
restore point (no effect).
Surely watching a DVD should not be this complex.
