DCOM Error

Everytime I reboot I get the following error:

The server {D61A27C6-8F53-11D0-BFA0-00A024151983} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

What do I need to do in order to fix this issue...

Also, What is the DCOM service used for?

hard to tell .. I would open regedit and search for the string
D61A27C6-8F53-11D0-BFA0-00A024151983 and look what the server application is
and then take it from there.
