DC Promotion problem

When I tried to promote a domain controller it didn't
complete. The FSMO roles holder (all are on one computer)
got part way through the promotion but didn't get the
replication links set up and the did not get the resource
records for the new DC. I also found the following in the
event logs on the FSMO roles holder:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: NETLOGON
Event Category: None
Event ID: 5723
Date: 12/22/2003
Time: 11:28:02 AM
User: N/A
Computer: DC1
Description:
The session setup from the computer NEWDC failed because
there is no trust account in the security database for
this computer. The name of the account referenced in the
security database is NEWDC$.
Data:
0000: 8b 01 00 c0 ‹..À

Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure that you in the default domain controllor security policy that you
have the administrators group added to the enable computer/user to be
trusted for delegation. This should work.

Thanks for the input, I'll look at that again though I
believe that is already in place.
