Date of comments in word

I have a word text that is written (and commented) in lower (98) word and the
comments have an information in the beginning like "OJ commented:". Then I
add some comments or modify existing comments on antoher machine where there
is word 2003 and the new/modified comments look like "OJ, 23.03.2007 10:09:00
commented:". But I don't want the comments inserted in different Words to
look different? Can I turn the date option off for comments in Word 2003? Or
is there maybe some other option to force comments to look in uniform way
(preferably with no date showing at all)?

In Tools | Options | Track Changes, under Balloons, unchecking the
"display action and time stamp buttons" should give you uniform comments
showing only "Comment: [text of comment]." At least in Word 2003.

Caveat--you won't have the delete comment button right on the balloon,
but Reject Change on the Reviewing Toolbar can be used instead, or
right-click to Delete Comment.
