How to change the background colour of comments in word?

I'm using word 2000 and want to add comments in a document. However, I think
that the yellow beckground of the commented word clashes with the overall
look of the document. I therefore would like to know whether it is possible
to change the background colour of a commented word.

Thanks

Hi Tom,

You can use any color ... as long as it's yellow :-/

I don't think the appearance of comments can be changed in any version from
the default.

Word2002 is probably worse: It doesn't use any shading, but puts very thin
red brackets around comments instead, which are rather hard to see.

Word2003 uses the brackets too (a bit thicker), but also re-adds a light
red shading. Brackets *plus* shading seems a bit redundant, but at least
you can see the commented text again, and it's not easily confused with
highlighted text any more, as in Word2000.

Regards,
Klaus
