Date keeps reseting itself back to 2005

Vista keeps reseting the system clock to year 2005.
I can set it right after start-up. But everytime I reboot the computer, it
sets back the clock again. It only sets the year, the date and time is still
correct.
My BIOS date is correct.

What complete rubbish, the OP noted that the bios date was correct
indicating it has nothing to do with
a battery.

Right click on the time display, "Adjust date and time"
Internet Time tab, which server are you using to set the clock?

Also, what calendar programs are you using?

Is this a home machine or is it at a location where it is logging onto a
Windows server? If the latter, when you logon, Vista will synchronize its
date/time with the setting on the server. If this is what is happening, the
date on the server is set to 2005.
