database query using asp

I am trying to find how to connect to an access database using classic asp
and retreive database records without using frontpage extensions
Any help much appreciated

I am looking to create a simple photo gallery to display images and search
images based on subject and most recently added etc. I have had problems
finding a basic connection script and a way of displaying the images using
a query
