Hi there,
Using Access'2000 on W2k(no office service pack installed). Customer can
open it and use it no problem.

BUT when we try and open it we cant. This database is in an unexpected
state;Microsoft Office Access can't it. This database has been converted
from a prior version of Microsoft Office access etccccc

Its very weird, the only pcs that can access it all have Access'2000. No
other versions. But why work on one pc and not the other?????????

Thanks in advance,

Jude Ashton

Are you absolutely certain that the two PCs have the same service pack
levels? For Jet, Access, Office, ... ?

Is the database secured? Are you both using the same workgroup file?

Are you absolutely certain that you are both testing the same file?
That is, you copy the file, then test the original on one PC, and the
copy on the other PC?
