Data Execution Prevention Sometimes Closes Windows Explorer

I run my PC applications in a password protected limited
account under fully updated XP Home SP2. I leave the
account logged in when I shut down (hibernate).
Sometimes, when I power up from hibernation and enter
the limited account, Windows Explorer is immediately
closed by Data Execution Prevention with the message "To
help protect your computer, Windows has closed this
program". After the error window has been closed another
copy of Windows Explorer appears and matters proceed
normally. Ostensibly this means that, initially,
malicious code was attempting to run. However I've
scanned with NAV 2004, Spybot Search and Destroy,
Ad-Aware and TDS-3 Professional, all without finding
anything untoward. I therefore suspect that I have some
sort of configuration problem. MS offers workarounds at:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=875351

All well and good but I'd prefer to resolve the
underlying problem, assuming there is one. I'd be
grateful therefore if anyone can suggest areas I can
usefully investigate? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, this should read: "Sometimes, when I power up
from hibernation, enter the limited account and and
attempt to navigate (eg by double clicking on "My
Computer"), Windows Explorer is immediately....."
