'Damaged" Program?

In the IE program files Java Runtime says damaged. I see this by
Tools>Internet Options>Settings>View Objects. Whats wrong? just noticed the
other day, will it affect anything?

I would uninstall it in control-panel \ add-remove-programs, then go get it &
install it again. I don't think it will hurt anything, but if it is truly
damaged, you might not be able to view all websites. Also make sure that you
don't have more than one instance of Java loaded there - It is easy to pick up
two versions, both running.
