Cut and Paste

WhenI had Windows98 as my operating system on my old pc,
I was able to do Cut and Paste of two different scannings
( Paperport6.0 w. a Visioneer Scanner) easily. I could
Cut/Copy a scanning of a top half of a magazine page and
then Paste it on the bottom half of another page.

Now that I have a new desktop PC w. WindowsXP, I can't do
this type of Cut/Paste like before. I have a new
Visioneer 8920 USB Scanner with Paperport 7.0 Deluxe. I
can't see where this newer hardware/software is so
different that it won't allow me to Cut/Paste like before.

Please help.

Does Visioneer have a support number or site? They should be
contacted.

PaperPort 6.0 also has an extensive User Guide (.pdf file). Have you
checked your new PaperPort CD for .pdf files? The guide should be very
helpful.
