customize update SUS

We use SUS for deploying updates. Is it possible to make the windows update
web link to go to an internal server so that the computer only gets approved
updates?

You can do this with a group policy.
Under Group policy/Computer configuration right click on Administrative
templates choose Add/Remove Templates and add wuau.adm this will give you
configuration options for Windows Update under windows components.
