SUS - so close :-)

I have an SUS running - snyc'd - approved -etc.
My workstations are trying to hit it for updates but they
get event error 16 unable to connect.
When I point web browser to SUS I get under constraution
page - I can run SUS admin for workstation OK.

Is there a secial URL I can try to see if Autoupadte "web
server" is working?

One thought...are your client stations MS Windows 2000?

If so, are they SP3 level or higher?

They must be, for SUS to work.

(Found this one out the VERY hard way)...

Just out of curiosity, try upgrading to SP4 first and then try again?

if it says under construction on web site, i'd say you don't have IIS
setup correctly or not installed at all, as this is what runs the
webserver on a server...

Are you running any other WEB sites on the SUS box? I
know the pre-sp1 version of SUS had problems with this.
Also try upgrading to SP1 of SUS.
