Customize the My Places Bar in NON MS Office applications

Hi,

I came across this KB article:

How To: Customize the My Places Bar in Both the Open and the Save As Dialog
Boxes in Office 2003.

The above KB article says you can add up to >200 new "My Places" locations.

My question is, how can I add additional "My Places" locations in the Open &
Save As Dialog Boxes in NON MS Office applications.

I'm familiar with the Tweak UI solution for up to ~ 5 locations ... but if I
wanted to add say ten or more My Places how can I do this?
