Customised Forms

Hi

I am creating a customised form and what I would like to know is how can I
acheive the following;

I Have a drop down box with 10 choices, the default display for the box is
--Please Select--

Then I have a field for qty (called Qty) how can I have this field visible
ONLY when something (and not --Please Select--) is selected from the dropdown
list. IE it remains invisible if nothing is selected.
