Custom Shell deleted by Task Manager

Hi All,

I have a custom shell running in XPE, and it can trigger the Task
Manager(for troubleshooting purpose). When I open the Task Manager, I can
see the shell application status. If I End Task the shell application, the
shell application will never be restored. Why?
Is there any way that I can run the custom shell/application without showing
it on the Task Manager? Please advise.

Thanks.

Joseph.

Explorer shell recovers, but not custom shell. What some developers have
done is use the Explorer shell component and replace Explore.exe with their
Custom Shell - the custom shell is called Explore.exe

Thanks for the reply, Sean. But, how can I not show the shell exe in the
Task Manager?
