Does anyone know of a way for Outlook for send a custom message when an
email is recevied? I use a special mailbox at work here that we use to
get technical escalations. What I need to do is have Outlook send a
canned email to the person on call when any mail is recevied in the
escalation inbox.
I've tried forwarding and redirecting rules in Outlook, but they send
the entire message. I'd just like to have Outlook send an email to the
person on call that says something like, "Escalation Recevied, go check
your email" or something like that.
Any ideas? Thanks.
