Custom Contact Form applied to Existing Contact

I created a simple contact form with the only addition of a Date Stamp
button for the notes field for use in Outlook 2002. I have it working fine
for new contacts but I want to apply this form to all contacts in the
address book. After some research I found a tool in the Office 2000
Resource kit (changeforms.exe if memory serves). That creates a reg file
for use with Office 9 and I simply changed those reference to Office 10 and
imported that into the registry. That did not have any affect on the
existing contacts forms. I wonder if it has anything to do with those forms
already being custom forms and Plaxo created forms? Any insight would be
wonderful!

Thanks,
Tom

When you used that tool, did you specify the correct message class for the existing custom forms? You might be better off converting them from the old form to the new form by changing the MessageClass property. See http://www.slipstick.com/dev/newdefaultform.htm#convert for several tools and scripts to accomplish this easily.
