GREETING SUPPORT CREW

1ST OF ALL I'M NOT YELLING. I JUST LOVE TYPING IN CAPS. SO PLEASE EXCUSE ME
BECAUSE I DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW TO TYPE WITH BOTH HANDS.
WITH THAT SAID, HERE MY PROBLEM:

I WAS WORKING ON A 4 PAGE WORD DOCUMENT WHEN WINDOW DID AN AUTOMATIC UPDATE
ON ME.

AFTER THE UPDATE AND REBOOT. MY CURSOR, SCROLL BARS, COPY, CUT AND PASTE
FUNCTIONS IN TOOLBAR DID NOT WORK ANYMORE IN WORD ONLY. ALL OTHER TOOLS IN
WORD WORKED AND EVERYTHING IN OTHER MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS LIKE PUBLISHER,
EXCEL, AND POWERPOINT WORKS.

SO I CLOSED OUT EVERYTHING AND REBOOTED MY P/C OVER 10 TIMES AND THE PROBLEM
IS STILL THERE.

ATTACHED IS THE ERROR MESSAGES THAT COMES ONE AFTER ANOTHER WHEN I CLOSE
WORD PROGRAM.

I PUT IN MY 2007 MICROSOFT OFFICE SOFTWARE DISC AND CLICKED REPAIR AND STILL
THE PROBLEM IS THERE.

NOW I'M WONDERING SHOULD I DO WHAT IS SAID HERE ON THIS LINK:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940791

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK I SHOULD DO NOW.
I HAVE A DELL XPS 420 DESKTOP P/C
WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM EDITION
4GB OF RAM
250 GB HARD DRIVE
32-BIT OPERATING SYSTEM
INTEL CORE 2 DUO CPU

1. You can type in all lower case and it would be much easier to read than
all caps.

2. If you do edit the registry, make sure you back it up first and have your
Office disks and product key afterward.
