ctfmon.exe

I just installed IE7 on XP Pro. I don't use IE much, so that's why I was not
in any hurry to update from IE6. I keep close tabs on my running processes,
and after installation, ctfmon.exe showed up. It was never there before. My
research shows it is needed by Windows Office programs. I don't have any. I
do have Microsoft Works Suite 2001. I unchecked it in startups, but it
starts anyway. It is not a big resource hog, but I would like to get rid of
it, if possible. I don't understand why it showed up after installing IE7.
Any suggestions or opinions would be appreciated.

Click Start --> Control Panel --> Regional and Language Options
Go to Languages tab and click Details
Go to Advanced tab and place a check mark in "Turn off advanced text
services"
Click OK twice.
