Cropping

Greetings from Downunder
When inserting pics into a new presentation using Insert>Picture>New Photo
Album, and when trying to crop part of one pic, the cropping tool is, and
remains greyed out -- although after inserting using a different system it
is NOT greyed out. Does anyone know a workaround for this?
All help always appreciated.
Using XP Pro SP 1 & 2 and Office XP

It's because the Photo Album inserts the picture as the background of an
autoshape instead of the picture itself. You can recreate this yourself by
inserting a Square in your presentation, then set the Color of the Square to
be a picture.

You have 2 choices: Crop the picture using a picture editor before running
the Photo Album or delete the copy in the Photo Album and insert your image,
then crop it.
