CRITICAL SECURITY DOWNLOAD WON'T INSTALL

I posted a message earlier about the email I received
today from Microsoft saying "SECURITY BULLETIN

Please review Microsoft Security Bulletin MS03-039:
Security Update
for Microsoft Windows(R)

I have not received a response, but I note that there are
many others in the same position as I am over
this "CRITICAL" download.

Why won't someone help us out - if it is so Critical?

Hi Katriona; It failed on me too on a system the first time i tried it (got
the error message 824146 failed to install). I tried again and this time
selected just the KB824146 fix and it installed fine. Then I went back and
installed the other critical update I was behind on. See if that works for
you-
It definately is a critical update and is necessary to get this
vulnerability addressed. Let me know if you have trouble,
I'll stand-by

Hi Bobbie,

Nothing I tried worked - I checked my install log and I
have tried to install this download eight times today.
Why can't Microsoft get it right the first time? If this
is so Critical - then I need to install it... and I am
getting very frustrated trying to do this.
