creating forms in word

i am creating some simple forms using word-Developer. I created some fields
where text can be typed in. My question is: Is there a way to confine the
document to two pages? It would even be ok if the typed font gets smaller to
force the document to stay within two pages...
THanks in advance for your time!

You can limit the size of the entries in the form fields. Create a table,
and put each form field in a separate table cell. Set the table's AutoFit to
"Fixed Column Width". Set the row heights (in the Table Properties > Row
dialog) to "Exactly" measurements instead of "At least" to prevent vertical
expansion.

There is no reasonable mechanism* for making the font size smaller when the
field overflows, nor is there any way to prevent users from typing more text
than the field can hold. The extra text just disappears below the bottom of
the cell.

[*There is an unreasonable mechanism, involving a macro that runs every time
the user types a character or moves the cursor, and checks whether the
field's length exceeds the allowed size. This would suck up so much
processor time that typing in the form would become noticeably slower.]
