creating distribution list

I

Info

I use Outlook 2002. How can I create a distribution list that will
1) not show the recipients the names or addresses of anyone on the list? A
friend of mine has one titled "undisclosed-recipients"

Namely, I want to send Joe, Nancy & Bill emails but I don't want any of them
to see the others addresses

2) prevent anyone's hitting "reply all" from sending the email to everyone
else in the list.

Thanks muchly

That has nothing to do with a DL. It has everything to do with how you send
the message. Use the BCC field for you recipients.

Here's the complete procedure for Outlook 2002:

Create a new recipient in your address book called 'Undisclosed Recipients" and
give it your e-mail address. Important: In the Display-As field, tailor it to
show only the name.

Compose the message, addressing it to Undisclosed Recipients (which is yourself)
then put all of the recipients names (or the Distribution List) in the Bcc
field. To see the Bcc field, click on View > Bcc Field.
