Can anyone tell me how to do this. I have a credit application on my website
in pdf format that customers print and then either mail or fax to me, I'd
like them to be able to fill out that form online click send and then it
comes to me. Securely. Or can you tell me where to find a tutoral on this,
or direct me to another NG.

I have adobe professional to make forms pdf format, but I'm not sure how to
do this with frontpage.

Thanks

Hi-
Creating the form itself in FP is fairly easy. (I have FP 2003). The hard
part is making it secure, which I would love to learn about as well. As for
making the form, simply click the 'Insert' menu and then chose 'Form'. That
will give you your form field (with submit/reset buttons), into which you
can then, (Using the same menu for other items) place different form
components, like text fields, or drop menu boxes or radio buttons. Once
placed on your page, Right-click these form components to set their
individual properties (eg, how many characters one must type into a text
field etc etc).
FP can do the form processing for you, but making it secure is a whole
other level, and I'm not sure how one would go about it or whether it can be
done securely this way. As for me, I'm planning, when I go into electronic
financial transactions, to use "Frontlook". I think that is a system that
supplies alot of the interface for you, but I'm not sure on that. I hope I'v
helped,...Frank

In order to make the page secure, it needs to be placed on a secure SSL
section of your web. Ask your host about a ssl section and certificate.
You can also ask them if they have a shared certificate

In addition to Brightbelt's and persona's comments, you cannot use
email to send the form to you. Email is not secure unless it is
encrypted using PGP or similar, and that costs. The data will have to
be stored in a secure database until you collect it.
