FP Extensions

I have a form that I want to send to an email address and display a
confirmation page but when I save it I get a message telling me that I can't
send the results via email because either the web site is disk-based or on a
server that has not been configured to send email. When I do a preview in
IE 7 I get the running script warning (which is not a good thing) and then
it tells me:
You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page that requires a web
server and the FrontPage Server Extensions to function properly.

This form or other FrontPage component will work correctly if you publish
this web to a web server that has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed.


I talked to the support at iPowerWeb and they tell me FP extensions are
installed properly and when I set the remote web site properties I selected
FP or Sharepoint services and it connected fine.

Any hints would be greatly appreciated.

Please hold off on looking at the url. For some reason I'll need to explore
the website is back to an old host.

Ok I changed it to an id at tlcug-ark.org but I still get the error message
when I try to close the form properties box that my server has not been
configured to send email. Can you tell me what FP is looking for on the
server that it is not finding so I can tell them?

Also I just checked again and the email address that the form is to send to
is not related to tlcug-ark.org
You can't send the email from web site A to an email address related to web
site B.

Also, when you create the form on your local machine disregard the message about the extensions, as
long as your going to publish (http) the site to a server the has the FP extensions installed and
configured (by the host) to process email.

Try editing the form in some fashion on the live/remote site, save then run Tools | Recalculate
Hyperlinks, then test the form.
