Create date changes when I copy a file :-(

When I copy I file the "create date" is set to todays date.
The "modified date" retains the original file creation date.

This is a problem when copying to PS3 or other devices that sort
images after date, as they use the "create date" (thus all images end
up in "2008" even if they have a "modified date" from 1991 (right one)

Why is XP doing this (use FAT32 file system)?

Is there and easy way to change the "create date" back to the right
one (copy the "modified date" that is right to "create date").

AND is there a way to stop XP from changing the "create date" ????

You could use one of the many "touch" utilities to set the
"create" date to a date of your own choice, or else use a
script to align the "create" date with the "last written" date.
