create CD of PP and Word presentations

I have about 12 PowerPoint presentations and 10 Word documents from
presenters from a conference I've just run. I'd like to put them all onto a
CD for the delegates and use hyperlinks from a menu page to each
presentation. I have Windows Prof 2003. Do I start with an autorun PP page
with hyperlinks to the PP and Word pages? Any help would be great.

That's probably what I would do. Either that, or maybe start with a
full-screen PDF page as the menu, since it won't give you warning messages
when you go to open the Word files. But then you get into either setting up
Adobe Reader to autorun from the CD (which is not terribly difficult) or
requiring your users to install it. So it might be easier to just stick with
PPT and tell them they may see a warning message when they click the Word
links.

Thanks Echo - that's great. Hadn't thought about the warning messages about
embedded bits with the hyperlinks to pdf and word docs (actually, I'm going
to print all word docs to pdf), but will put a message on the opening slide
to explain. Cheers.
