Michael,
You could make a shortcut to taskmgr.exe and put it in your Startup folder.
Or you could make a shortcut to Performance Monitor (perfmon.exe) and put
that in your startup folder. Go to start, run, perfmon.exe and try that
out. It automatically has % processor time monitoring.
