Countdown events OR "Mary's XXX Birthday" possible!

I had a PIM years ago which would put birthdays on a calendar from a contact
form...can't remember which one BUT...it would put "Mary's XXX Birthday"
instead of just "Mary's Birthday" like we get in Outlook...wouldn't that be
nice!!

Related would be countdown events..."six weeks to vacation", etc. Both
instances only require the ability to put a formula in the event title so we
can use the datediff formula from the appointment origination or termination
event date.

Wouldn't that be great!

Create a custom field for the person's birthday. In the item open event,
place your formula and set the subject field to the answer.

Does anyone have an example of this?
