corrupt registry entry from spyware

How can I delete a corrupt registry entry? When I click on the key I get a
message, "Cannot open taskcache: Error when opening key." It's under
HKLM/Software/BTIEIN/BTIEIN. I've tried removing both BTIEIN keys, but just
get errors. Spybot and Adaware are also unable to delete the keys.

Hey kurt. For some reason I couldn't get to the page from work. I remote
logged into my home comuter and was able to get it. Gotta love those
corporate firewalls.

Thanks for the info. I'll tell the woman that her husband will need to
re-run adaware while he's logged in (he has a password set and she's not
sure what it is) as he's the one that has loaded their system up with over
2000 spyware objects. :-O I'm debating on wether or not I should tell her
about the 4 1gb porn movie files he has on there (possibly more, just
noticed those because the disk defragmenter reported them as it was unable
to defragment them).

Only if she is cute! ;-)
