corrupt file

Please help! Windows XP could not start because the
following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32
\CONFIG\SYSTEM . I started getting this error message
after trying to reinstall XP. Thank you.

Looks like the Hardrive might be bad. you could try a
repair with the windows install disk
