Hi all,
I have a Windows XP Home system that started rebooting at bootup, can't get
it past the diagnostic menus (F8 at boot). I used WinTernal's ERD Commander
to mount the OS and view the event viewer, there is event iD 1508 with an
error stating that the Configuration Database Registry is corrupt. I've
searched around and can't find aything on this. I've tried to use system
restore (ERD can access this on the mounted os and restore) but that didn't
work, I've tried all modes in the diag menu's. Unfortunately the user doesn't
have a system repair disk, naturally. Any help is appreciated!
