Corrupt Add or Remove Programs Window?

I am trying to clean up a computer and I noticed that when I went into "Add
or Remove Programs" it appears to be corrupt. By corrupt, I mean there is
about 15 to 20 items listed and then white space. I scroll down for "miles"
and finially get to the remainder of the installed programs. In between this
"white space" are several think black vertical lines. I have tried to click
on it to see if it is a program but there is nothing to click.

Anyone seen this? Any suggestions. Currently Reinstallation is not an
option.

Excellent web site. Thanks for the responce! Looks like I will have to do
some investigation of the site since there is a plethora of fixes.
