Copying CDs

OK, I've been having SO much trouble copying music to
CDs. I think this is the right place to post this.
Whenever I try to copy CDs with Windows Media Player it
doesn't work. Whenever it finishes 'Converting' the
songs, it ejects the disk, before it 'Copies' them. Is
this a problem with the program? my drive? the CD?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but Imation discs are crap. I only use TDKs or Fujis.
