Copying calendar entries across .PST files

Hi,

I've got an old .PST file containing calendar entries. Let's call it
foo.pst.

I've created a new .PST file. Let's call it outlook.pst. That is the
default .PST file.

I've opened Outlook, then opened foo.pst as a second Outlook data file.

I've clicked "Folder List" to list all the folders in both Outlook data
files.

I've RMBed each folder in the old PST file, select Copy, then select the new
PST file. While it's a PITA that Outlook keeps creating a new folder (eg.
Inbox1, Tasks1, Contacts1, etc) in the destination PST file, I'm able to
select each item in the bogus folder, drag them to the desired folder, and
delete the new, bogus folder. Why won't Outlook just let me add items to
the oldfolder, analogous to how things work in Windows Explorer, where I
copy a folder from one directory to another?

However, for Calendar entries, I can't Select All items, so I can't copy the
items to the Calendar folder, and I'm stuck with my Calendar entries in
Calendar1, with Calendar being empty.

Outlook won't let me delete Calendar and then rename Calendar1 to Calendar.

Is there any way I can get the Calendar entries from the old PST file into
the Calendar folder in the new PST file?

Thanks,
Scott

You can, but you have to choose not the folder itself, but all the items in
the folder. For example, open the old Calendar and switch to the "By
Category" view. Now, select the first entry and press CTRL-A to select all
entries. Then right-click the selection and choose Copy (or Move). Specify
as a destination the new Calendar.
However, for Calendar entries, I can't Select All items, so I can't

See above. You need to click View>Arrange By>Current View>By Category (in
Outlook 2003; OL 2002, 2000 will be somewhat different). Then CTRL-A will
select all items.
