my IE 6.0 is up to date with current patches and SPs, I can browse pages no
problem, I can sign in to all but one of my various banking sites. My all my
settings for Privacy and Security are set to defaul, actually all my IE
settings are set to the defaults. I am using ZoneAlrm as the firewall. This
one bank site refuses to let me sign in saying my broweser is set to not to
accept cookies. I get this error even if I set my security and privacy
settings to the lowest aoption.

Any ideas

Add the bank to your trusted sites in Zone Alarm (Privacy - Cookie Control)
and see if this fixes the issue.

Suggest disabling any firewall until cookies are working correctly. Make
certain your time, date, and time *zone* settings are all correct.
