Hi,
While accessing a non-IIS, IBM Rational web components server, on port 8080,
IE 6.0 blocks cookies if machine netbios name is used, i.e.
http://machinename:8080, and allows cookies if IP address is used, i.e.
http://n.n.n.n:8080. This happens, disregarding what privacy settings have
been selected. How do I get around this? Users will not be able to login if
the cookies are blocked, and we need to use URLs based on machine or fully
qualified domain names, as opposed to IP addresses.
Thanks,
Omid
