cookie problems with IE6

R

Rob Eveleigh

Trying to set privacy levels on IE6 and it just won't let
me. I've gone to the privacy tab in internet options, and
then clicked the 'edit button' in 'websites' and tried to
enter the name of an individual site. Each time I do this
I get an error message telling me IE will now have to
close.

I've also tried going to the privacy tab, then
clicking 'advanced' and opting to 'override automatic
cookie handling'. I click 'OK' but am not given the option
to 'apply' and when I return to the 'advanced' folder the
settings are the same as before I changed them, ie, no
longer overridden.

WTF is going on. Driving me mental!
