Convert wordperfect 11 to word

I have my cover letters and resume in wordperfect 11. I emailed it to someone
and they said send it in word. I opened the doc and went to save as but
there's like 10 different word versions to choose from. Which do I save it
as? And also, which format do you recommend I keep my documents in. Do more
people use Word then Wordperfect?

RTF is the most universal of the word processor formats, it
can be opened by any word processor. So don't use a WORD
format, use Rich Text (RTF).

Whichever one the recipient has. Ask him.

And also, which format do you recommend I keep
my documents in.

If you use WordPerfect, you should keep your documents in
WordPerfect format. You can always later save it in another
format for someone who requires that format.

Do more people use Word then Wordperfect?

Yes, by far (although personally I prefer and use WordPerfect).
