Conversion access 2000 to acces 95

O

Otto Sonneveld

My actual access based application supports access 95.
When I open the access the are "read only" or they will be saved into the
2000 format.
Is there a way to store the files in access 95 format.
or have a seperated program to convert the dbm's from 2000 to access 95

Thanks

Sorry, no.

If you're forced to use Access 95 (my condolences, by the way: it was
probably the flakiest version of Access released) and you have to maintain
the code, you really have no choice but to install Access 95 for yourself.

I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to accomplish,
but I created a D base in Access 2000, then needed to use
it on a A95 PC.

I opened a new database on the W95 program, then imported
all the database objects from the Access2000 version
database I created into this new database. I apparently
converts the objects back to 95 and everything worked.
