control 'TabCtl8'

(the control 'TabCtl8' the macro is attempting to search can't be searched).
I am getting this message on some machines which are using a database i have
developed in Access, the message appears when trying to use a find button on
a form. can anyone help please

Q: Anything different about the versions in use on the various machines
(Access version #, Retail vs Runtime, updates applied?)

That is my thought, the machines I am having problems with are older, and I
am not sure if they have the full Access programme, however if you can help
with a solution so that I can run this DB on any machine I would really
appreciate the help
